Blurb Photo Book Giveaway!

I'm pumped -- today I have such an awesome giveaway for all my fellow Canadians. (For non-Canadians, I'm sorry, and I assure you I try hard to get as many international ones as possible!).
I love photos. I have so, so many photos. And while digital cameras have allowed us to capture things in a completely new way than film, the downside to me is that too many people store all their photos digitally with no books to curl up and flip through. Personally, I love a good book of photos. And while I have an appreciation for a traditional album, I usually opt for coffee table style books. This is why I am so, so excited about the giveaway.

Blurb, an amazing photo book company, is offering a $35 credit toward one lucky Canadian Simcoe Street reader! You have two three (thanks for catching my mistake, Julie!) possible
ways of entering to win:

1. Be a follower of Simcoe Street and leave a comment telling me that you are following.
2. Visit blurb.com and leave a comment telling me what kind of photo book you'd make if you won.
3. Leave a comment telling me what kinds of photos you'd put in your book - wedding, family, travel, something else?

Note: Please leave a separate comment for each entry so to increase your chances of winning. If you do not have a blog for me to contact you through if you win, please leave an email address. Winner will be posted on this site and contacted, then sent the coupon code for $35 by email.
Contest ends Monday June 18th.

Here's a glimpse at what you can do - family albums, baby books, vacation albums, recipe books, wedding albums, personalized guest books - but the possibilities are endless.
I am actually working on two photo books myself right now, one of Benjamin's first year (to be completed after this weekend's big birthday party so that I can include cake-eating shots, of course. I'll give copies to the grandparents, too -- maybe for Father's Day?) and one other gift for somebody that is a secret. I'll share all the details when they are complete. I am using Blurb, so was super excited when they contacted me about the giveaway. The software is easy to use, and the product selection is awesome. I think the winner is going to LOVE this prize!

Okay, now go enter, tell your friends, and good luck everyone!
Big thanks to Sherline at Blurb for setting this up :)

  2. I had never heard of Blurb before. If I were to win I would get a portrait book and fill it with the wonderful art my daughter has created. At 14 she is an amazing artist with an eye for beautiful.

  7. I would make a family album for sure. Since digital came along, the photos we've printed and put in albums are few and far between. Thanks so much for this fab giveaway!
