Weeknight Dinner and Tea Tablescape

I hope you all had a great Halloween! Hard to believe it is November already...

Today I'm sharing a simple weeknight dinner table - on tonight's light dinner menu is salad, sandwiches and of course some tea.

We like to use the good china regularly - this is our wedding china, Vera Wang's Platinum Lace.

You can see I used the little teaspoons again. You can win a set of them here -- but the giveaway ends tomorrow afternoon!

I also used our Vera Wang Love Knots napkin rings. They match the flutes I showed you here

For an easy and quick centrepice, I arranged various crystal candlesticks on an antique silver tray found at a flea market for $10 and popped it on top of a glass cake stand to give it a little height.

The water glasses are Lismore by Waterford.

These little footed bowls (used here to hold tealights) are also Waterford's Lismore.

Here is a better look at the china -- the salad plate:

Hope you have a lovely Monday night!

  4. @ Seizing My Day: Yes, maybe not the best idea with children -- although, my parents always put real candles on the table and we had no problems - guess it depends on the age?
