A peek at our living room

When I check out new bloggers, I love to see where they live and what their homes look like. So, it seems fair that I show you what our place looks like. Our home is a small condo right in the heart of downtown Toronto, and we are loving making it "ours."

Though we've done a lot, our place is still a work in progress. Sadly, we neglected to take almost any before pictures. I'll have to give you the description as I take you through our spaces bit by bit (a lot of us bloggers [can I call myself a "blogger"?] are detail-oriented, aren't we?).

Anyway, to begin introducing our house, here is a glimpse of our living room and how it looks today...

(The couch fabric seems to photograph funny and I'll need to figure out how to get a picture without that sheen being added. Also I hope you'll ignore the wires and whatnot next to the dining table -- but this is how our home looks "for real" so I didn't feel the need to move it. Thanks for looking!).

  5. I love your space and how you set up your living/dining combo. We have a living dining combo at the front of our house and I can't seem to make anything work with it. You have a great layout. Thanks for the comment on my blog- of course you can use the post! :)

  11. Hi I followed from TN. I love you living room! I think painting the buffet a blue color would be awesome. I would try and find a stain to have the side table match the coffee table. The coffee table is gorgeous as it is!

  15. Hi Jenny,
I love the way your condo is set up, no wasted space, eh? ALso, the doors going into the bedroom and kitchen are beautiful, makes it a really unique space. Not just another condo. You have decorated it so nicely, too. Lovely!
